MotoGP » Stoner 'annoyed' as pole slips away

"We're confident with our race pace on hard tyres if the weather stays dry, it's just upsetting to have a qualifying session like this" – Casey Stoner.

Anyway you slice it Stoner is a misenthropic pain in the aahrse, great rider. Equally did you see comments by Crutchlow about following rossi. Didn't see Rossi do any complaining or tapping the back of his bike. Stoner is kind of guy that after a while the whinging becomes too much and you'd give him a clip around the ear and tell him to wake up to himself.

stats show 5 races in that the duke and vale are progressing well in the right direction! Yes Stacey Moaner was good on the duke (of old!!)......."for a season anyway"!!!!! However you cannot get away from the FACT he binned it more than he rode it!

NOW PRESS THE DISAGREE THUMB HATERS AND DRY YOUR EYES.

He'e worried the guy with muppet hair is going to start beating him. SImo's getting faster every week, seems to have mastered setting his bike up and is willing to put knock you onto the pavement to pass.

'Valentino Rocks'

Funny how Casey hasn't made a single mistake this year while Rossi is crashing his brains out. The only difference between Casey on the Duc and Rossi on the Duc is Casey won loads of races on it where Rossi won't even get close on that bike. Casey's time from last year would have been pole this year, Rossi 7th and lucky to be that high with Dani and Colin out.

Casey is upset he didn't get pole because he is very competitive and wants to always be fastest. What is wrong with that? If you are a good loser then that is what you will be good at....losing. Would it be better if he said "I am glad we were not able to go any faster because I really didn't want pole"? Do you not think Rossi wants to win pole or races? They all do. Grow up.

The amusing thing (if you can call it that) is the Stoner haters are doing exactly the same thing they accuse Casey of doing - moaning!

Give it a rest, hmm? Stoner is obviously driven and anything less than achieving what he set out to do is not satisfying to him. Obviously a crime to the mis-informed kiddies on this site. Once Vale starts winning on that pig of a Duke then you might have something to say, but until then just go play elsewhere.

Like it or not, the facts are that Stoner won more races on that Ducati than Rossi did on the best bike out there (the Yamaha). I am really beginning to believe Rossi is definitely not the GOAT when it comes to riding ability. But could be the GOAT when it comes to providing usable feedback to the team to make the bike easier to ride.
