Horrific looking accident. Hope they are both okay. However I worry what decision will be made. Was Simon slow in the turn or Sofuoglu too quick? For me it was an unfortunate racing incident. Or will the race directors make yet another farcical decision? Lets get back to racing - PLEASE.

F me, I thought F1 was a joke with penalties. Dorna has opened the Pandora's box with Simoncelli penalty last race. There is no going back if they don't stop this crap now.

sorry but.. you can't do that.
we might as well all pack up and go home!
come on! looks like simon was well slow in, how could he help tagging him??
if he is penialised racing is going into a bad place.
But Zarco on the other hand should have moved over to let oponent back on track. It's only a race.He deliberately stayed on the kerb forcing matie into the dirt. Dirty dirty move. If he had killed him it would be manslaugher, in my book.

This is becoming racing by committee and is not good for the sport. As regards the 125 race Terol had run himself wide and Zarco took advantage.Personally I saw absolutely nothing wrong with the pass and the result should have stood. This was balls out racing and why we love it.Unless a manoeuver is blatantly reckless and dangerous the powers that be should keep their noses out.
The Sofuoglu/Simon crash was a racing incident and I despair for the sport if they see it any other way.

From the safety of my couch, it looked like Sufu made a bone head mistake. Or a hair ball move as Hayden would say. Can't see any reason for a penalty myself. If Sufu makes a practice of this (unlikely) than his license should be pulled as incompetent to race.

You have to look at whats happened in the recent past as Race direction have set precedents.
Is one looks at the penalties given to Simonchelli and
Zarcos the Sofuoglu should get a time penalty either after qualifying or in the race at Silverstone.

Having said that the whole situation beggars belief.
the whole series is a wash with Spanish Favouritism. Perhaps Paul Butler is topping up his retirement fund with Spanish euros...
