I wouldn't lament the passing of Ducati in WSBK, it's by far the best decision they made. To think, they reallocated funds and are still leading that series with a satellite effort is hilarious... Someone at Ducati is looking like a genius...

re: "Lorenzo is limited in his knowledge of development, power is the only thing he knows to be focused on"

he's is having trouble articulating what he needs. from a rider's perspective his request however is appropriately worded. to the yamaha boffins, when he requests "more power"...? what they'll try and give him is "more power to the ground". the net effect is the same. in a test cell, the yamaha engine is prolly within 5-8hp peak of the 72 degree honda. not a huge difference, however honda's transmission gaurantees a higher average of it's power gets used. over race distance that adds up and as a bonus they get to run it detuned for the rules. remember, not long ago that V4 was an embarrassment to a company with a storied history of racing V4's. by itself, the honda lump is likely no more powerful than any of the others.

they better thank God that at least some part of the larger "gamble" has worked...? imagine if checa was also sucking hind tit...? if it were anybody else on that aprilia beside biaggi...? he would be. only biaggi could march into monza on friday morning with far and away the best bike, and by sunday evening NOT be sitting on a double...!?!? (WTF) any other veteran, and it would've been a cakewalk... a foregone conclusion.

@@@jonsey...... All that proves if Moaner set a faster "LAP" time than ""THE DOCTOR"" and was still slower for the race duration is that ""THE DOCTOR"" rode the duke more consistently for the WHOLE race and not just a fast lap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, anyone of them can ride balls out for a quick lap but you try doing this for 20+ laps and eventually either the tyres, the bike, or the rider will give?????????? (I am a girl with leather and i'm not afraid to use it!) :)

lower top speed for high corner speed. that rossi's..!
now you have to make your own bike jorge...
like rossi did right now... he didn't use stoner set-up, but he made a new set-up...
want me to teach you..? -46rossi

Rossi the lion.If Rossi is so good on the Ducati then why has he not won any races on it?
Stoner won 23 on it including his first ever race on it.Stop trying to belittle Stoners efforts on the Ducati because he has done more on that bike than Rossi ever will!
