Ducati should be ashamed to let CS go to Honda
They withdraw of the WSBK to put all the money into the MOTOGP and Rossi.
From 2007 till now Ducati was so arrogant and never listened to CS if talking about development.As a pity this is the result and it's getting worser and worser for them.

to be fair, Casey was given a package in 2007 that had advantages he was able to exploit. He didn't develop the Ducati into a championship winner. As the gap closed you can say that Ducati didn't listen to him but the guy had their best engineers and does 5 lap runs to dial in the bike and he struggled when the other manufacturers caught up.

Now he is on the best bike and showing awesome speed. Stoner is a fast rider but I haven't seen any proof of phenomenal developmental skills. Give the guy a great package and he will probably win.

Very dissapointing with Rossi's performance for sure. You can visably see he looks slow and I don't expect any miracles tomorrow that's for sure.

But on the other hand in races only Nicky has finished in front of Vale once at Jerez and that's because he crashed. So I think it's really down to the track and horrable set up here. It be different if Karl, Bar, De putniet, Hayden were finishing in front of Rossi before this weekend which there were not. So while I can understand you coming out the woodworks to point out everyone who's faster this weekend and how terribe Rossi is I just wouldn't get used to it.

"Stoner is a fast rider but I haven't seen any proof of phenomenal developmental skills."

@BillAce

And since he rode for an arrogant manufacture that wouldn't listen you haven't seen any proof that he isn't. Have you ever read anywhere were anyone from Ducati complained about Stoner's development skill?

Funny thing is, people are giving credit for Val for turning the Ducati around and into a more "rider friendly" bike (whatever that is worth and today not much). But hasn't Casey been at Honda the same amount of time that Val has been with Ducati? Why is he getting zero credit from help making the Honda the package that it is right now? There can be a case made that the Ducati has gone backwards but there isn't a case at all for the Honda not being anything but better.

Only a blind man would give Rossi credit for the Ducati. I doubt he would want it. The guy threw both frames from HIS first round of upgrades at his team mate and last years spec just outperformed him. If I had to give credit for Ducati being more rider friendly it would have to go to Nicky who was a rider that was able to steadily improve and actually did enough laps for the data to be useful to the other riders.

And on the other side of the coin there has been no evidence that Ducati didn't listen to Stoner either. I can't believe that they didn't want to put the best bike under him possible since he was the only one getting results. For all anyone knows his recommendations were making the bike worse. If he was really having problems you think Stoner would have at least done half as many laps as other guys on the Duc to get it sorted.

Proving Rossi has been a complete failure at developing the Ducati so far doesn't prove Stoner was ever good at it. Stoner was fast on the
