Great ride from Stoner, his fans should enjoy it, no need to cackle.
Great ride from Colin, shame people on here were baying for him to retire and give his bike to a younger rider.
Brilliant ride from Nicky, man of the match for me.
Kudos to Rossi for salvaging a crap weekend.
Bautista, a good rider that showed that rain is a good leveller.
George, shame. Riding well too.
Simmo, I admire him for keeping his head, Dovi was clearly holding him up.
Dovi geat ride from what is effectively Hondas' 4th rider.
btw, the 'pussy' comment is being used out of context.

Amazing. Now Rossi is on what his followers perceive as a crap bike all the excuses his followers used to deride other riders with are now valid.

Face facts, the fire is going out. The fact he wasn't even bothered about some of the frank questions he was asked about his future on the BBC said it all. Sounds like he is serious about WSB instead of doing a Capirossi and carry on in motogp with no hope of a win.

It generally holds that people who are at the top only have a 10 year window of being on the top of their game. Rossi has had this and more he just doesn't have the few 10ths due to a combination of age and motivation.

First of all congrats to Stoner,Dovi and Edwards(luv u).One strange feeling today..I am Rossi Fan..was driving my car in the morning and thought "I am a rossi fan and will always be..and all his fans should be united now as our hero is going through a bad Phase".I was very emotional and thinking what he must be going through...and at the start he was last or almost last and in the corner of the screen...but then somehow he managed to claw back to sixth...I only hope..that this is not the beginning of the end..We luv you Rossi...people who hate him can write..but it just reminds us that v r humans..

I am sad to see Lorenzo drop it... Bad, bad, bad! - But it was good to see Hayden do so well. Maybe Ducati are on their way to get that bike sorted out? - Can´t believe it has taking Ducati so long to realize they had to do something to be competive. For 4 years Stoner did very well to win races on the bike, but but great riders like Melandri, Capirossi, Hayden and now Rossi has not been able to jump on the bike and ride it... It has to be the bike there is something wrong with.. Not the riders!!! FIX IT NOW!!!!!!!

Just like Aragon last year Vale had a bad day in the office. Maybe you cant teach an old dog new tricks (or new tracks) However just like Aragon expect that to be his worst race of the year. 2 of his fave tracks are next...

Where is the talk of Yamaha 'dropping' Rossi coming from? They offered him a contract, it was his decison to leave. It was either money, pride or being afraid of going up against JL again that made him leave (or a combination of those). As for wanting a challenge, I would have thought that having the reigning WC in your team with the same bike would be a pretty good one. He could have stayed at Yamaha for this year if wanted. I wonder if he wishes now that he did?

BTW - I dont think he is finished yet like many are saying. All it will take is for Ducati to somehow come up with a trump card for next year (I'm not sure how). But stick him on a good bike and he would back near the front for sure.

Either Rossi has lost it (i don't believe it) OR
He's realised the Duc is a pile of rubbish and he's not prepared to risk life & limb with little guarantee of success (why would he risk it) OR he's lost the motivation (maybe, especially if he knows his equipment is so inferior) OR he's working on the 2012 bike (i hope so and this makes some sense if you consider the whole Duc set up vs the Japs, less resources, less money. Maybe there's 2012 development bits on his bike)
And Go Casey for the Championship!!

Another thing I've noticed is all the comments about Honda stepping it up this year. They already did that last year. Dani showed it in flashes last year but he wasn't consistent enough and he crashed a few times. Dovi is a step behind anyway. I think JL or Stoner could have won last year's WC if they were on that Honda.

Unless the comments are just Rossi fans trying to attribute most of Stoner's 2011 success to the bike?
