Ben crashed right in front of me on Sunday, he went down so quickly and was travelling so fast that I thought it would have had much more serious consequences!
Speedy recovery Ben!!

There is something very odd here. Ben was I think third for a short period and then starting falling back rather quickly and no explanation or even the slightest comment that his performance up until he fell was sub-standard. Maybe he didn't like the cold weather.

VERY lucky not to be seriously injured with an impact like that into a wall.

It's a shame as he seemed to be gathering confidence on this year's bike and this might set him back a bit.

At least he has a couple of weeks to recover from the bruises.

I think Ben lost concentration and the plot somewhere before his crash. Why did he turn around and wave his arms at Colin as if to say 'what are you doing here'? He didn't seem very focused

It looked like Spies was signaling to Edwards to try and stop the race the conditions were terrible and that was just for us spectators watching it cold, wet, windy and miserable - British GP - never again!!

In my opinion Ben is the most unhappy player there this year. Completely no fun as his face shows it all clear. Similarity with Dovizioso. Real two aliens now like without real home.

Checking last years PI FP1 in difficult conditions, Ben did 3 laps while Dovi did 23.
Ben is never going to be champion unless he is willing to shrug off less than perfect conditions. Edwards needs to give him a talking to.

Fully expected him to become another alien this year, and be right up the sharp end - disappointed so far.

Shows how difficult it is I suppose to find that extra 1% that separates the greats from the very goods.

Colin has never found it. Toseland never found it. Will Ben and Cal?
