I am very relieved he didn't injure himself badly in that crash but I am sure Ben will finish a wet race if it turns out to be the case two weeks to recover from bruises I am sure he will come out fighting and hopefully challenge for the podium at Assen I hate wet conditions too dangerous.

What a bummer he was all set for a good race qualfied 4th. I don't see how any of those riders stay up in those deplorable conditions and push those powerful bikes to the limit. Like DePuniet said it was the most miserable race ever. Even Colin complained about the conditions lol.

Although im not a huge fan of Spies, im glad he's ok. It could have been a whole lot worse. Too many injuries lately, and its not nice to see anyone injured, os yes, a lucky escape for him!

Regarding his performance, well, its lookignterrible for him so far this season. 50% DNF's is appauling, so he needs to sort himself out and at least finish the races.

Simoncelli is another one, he has had a few DNF's already, although in his defence at least he has shown potential race winning pace.

Ben is looking a bit like the guy who nearly made it will he turn out to be Toseland the 2nd? should he have waited another year before going up?
The fact that ex-wsbk champions cant shine in motogp just shows how good the top riders are in this class.

I too am relieved that Ben did not get seriously injured. No excuse in this day and time not to have an air fence up at any track that there is even a remote possibility of a rider getting anywhere near a fence. I mean we have a wet race where guys are going to tip it in and the front she is going to go.

Spies seem to be suffering from the sophmore jinx. Murphys law has he and Mr. Simoncelli by the family jewels.
