A terrible tragedy for bike racing.

Riders of DP's caliber are a rarity.

This essentially illustrates that he virtually has no more capacity for sustaining any more serious injuries, certainly to his upper torso, anyway.

He is near the end of a career in motorcycle racing, it may be, sadly, but not because of his inability to race super fast, or even the fastest, in MotoGP.

Good luck DP, you will certainly need it.

The "Troll" should just retire while he's somewhat still healthy. Everybody knows all the surgeries done on him would catch up when he's older. Arthritis, pinched nerve, rehab and so on. No amount of money is ever enough compare to the suffering he'll endure down the road post-racing career.

Oje, this looks bad.

Dani, if you consider cut off the current season untill after the summer break, or even the whole year.

Just get well! The grid needs you fit!
Be strong! We're with you.

Best thoughts also to Colin and Crutchlow.

Its so frikkin annoying to read the armchair experts comments here on crash to the effect that DP is weak (or worse) cos he did not ride at Silverstone when Edwards did.

Nobody knew the seriousness and extent of the complications to his injuries. Still we have a bunch of numbnuts who have probably never been near a race circuit in their life, explaining how DP's time is almost up at HRC due to his complete failure as a MotoGP rider.

i think its about time to call it a day to reading and posting on

too many comments that don't make any sense on this forum.

Someone agreed with nebar1, and nebar1 said RawDawg wishes Dani well and somebody pressed disagree!!!! So does this person really agree or disagree with RawDawg? or are they trying to agree with disagreeing or are they just trying to be funny and nebar1 falls for the trap.
