Rossi and crew should just grab the M1 that yamaha gave him in 2004 and bolt a ducati motor to it. They would have a race winning chassis and a crap motor so it would be sort of like a new M1.

Lol you guys in here are so hilarious. Pays greatly to visit these forums now and again... in your moasquito-attention span every result seems to be indicative of a riders general ability.

But I guess now that Stoner isn't 1st place and don't have anything to boast about since your idol is being trounced by rookies either on same or inferior machinery (!!!) the only thing you have to speak about is about Rossi being 11th.

Show some respect gentlemen, show some respect....

As usual this forum is full of stupid comments made by people who clearly have no idea!

When did Rossi or Ducati say the GP11.1 was going to be the solution to all their problems?? Quite the opposite in fact. They have never tried the chassis with an 800 engine, or with the current set-up and new gearbox so lets see how they can develop it over the weekend and the next few races before everyone has a good laugh!

Plus if Stoner is so 'amazing' and the only person who can ride a Ducati, then can someone please tell me why he only won one WC in four years???

Pedrosa was leading the WC until his injury and now its looks as if he'll be following Simo if he can work out how to stay upright!

"that he now had HIS bike and not Stoner's heap.'

Well, that's not 100% true.

Preziosi had the bike drawn up in 2010 - before Rossi. Yes, Rossi has done development work with the bike but it's not like it was design to Rossi/JB specification or anything. Ducati was going to have this bike with or without Rossi.
