@Azzy What was the damage to Jlo's bike? Was it mentioned somewhere? He did a great job salvaging what he could. Would the race have been different if Simo and Jlo hadn't crashed? Who knows. It's all just speculation now.

Beware the Flying Hairball!

Congrats to Ben. Great win. Those of us who watched him so long in AMA know what's coming next. Now that he has a taste of winning, look out! He'll be coming for Jorge and Casey now.

No it won't be Stoner because as you know Simmo and Rossi are best mates.

Rossi said he would help him out in his ambition to take out the field in a calender year. Just to start him off and show him how to do it properly he used Stoner as the guinea pig.

To Rossi's surprise the big gorilla has proven a very good student barring a ride through penalty.

@spur : if you ever ride a bike, with speed above 60 km/h, when you fall, you know that the bike can become imbalance and it's not comfortable to ride as it was ...

@Azzy Been there done that. I also know in a race when this kind of misfortune falls on you, you ride at an accelerated pace due to adrenaline and being pizzed. A guy like Jlo that is world class knows how to control that kind of rage to his advantage. He probably was able to determine in a short time what his scoot was capable of and rode around the rest of his bikes problems. He's the defending world champ and I take nothing from him nor any shots at him.

Spies win a weird race. Still, no one could ever beat him today even if the incident never happened.

Is there a pill for Simocelli not to crash in his first lap on any race? I guess, where ever his QP position on the races should be added plus 10 positions on the grid. So, he would not so eager to crash in his first lap.
