MotoGP » Marco Simoncelli: Oops, I did it again...

"I thought he learnt from the past and the polemic he created with Dani [Pedrosa] but it's clear he hasn't" – Jorge Lorenzo.

I really can't see what all the fuss is about.
Everybody else in the race knew he was a serial cold tyre crasher, they all knew he was on harder compound tyres. they all knew it was first left hander so why didn't they all hang back and watch him throw himself into the kitty litter, obvious really.

Hey Mr. Hairball, you are the best. NOT!

I remember you and Barbera were idiots already with 250cc bikes. Your very good Spanish friend is quite slow nowadays with Duc, but at least he is staying on bike and not going to take out anybody else.

"I am unhappy to have caught Lorenzo up in my crash and can only apologise to him. The only consolation, small as it is, is that I was able to pick the bike up and finish the race and put down some good times - despite having parts and pegs missing from the bike and the back of my helmet digging in.

The only reason his helmet was digging in was the lack of grey matter upstairs.

What is it with all the know NOTHINGS on here,? He's the best thing to happen to this paint drying, stagnent, corp, sham of a class. He makes mistakes cos he's trying and the funny thing is as long as the rich kid, spoilt crybaby riders dont keep putting the boot in he'll be a multiple champion. There's one reason they keep moaning , because he's attracting attention for being blisteringly fast/talented but loose. So for all the Latins who love all that macho sh.t its making them jelous. All we need now is another 10more like him and we have some entertainment.

The thing about Simoncelli is that he can be fast, but he is not a multiple championship winning rider. He never really has been throughout his career, except in his last 2 years in 250cc, where he won the title one year, then finished 3rd the next. I think he will win a race here and there in his career, or maybe even win a title if everything clicks into place for him for a season or 2, but he won't win many of them, because it seems he doesn't know how to ride in a way that wins you multiple championship.....

i agree. i think he is one of the best things to happen to gp racing in a long time. the more subplots the better. the other guys behind him should be taking **** from the fans for not willing to put it on the line like sic does.

rossi v jo
rossi v stoner
rossi's friendship with sic
sic v the field

i only wish that spies can add to the fray and that barbera was up near the sharp end.

the more attitude and rivalrys the better i say!

to bad biaggi aint in there with em.

just wait til iaonne joins the mess!!!

No rider as big as Simoncelli or as small as Pedrosa has ever won a MotoGP or 500GP championship - and I suspect never will.

Pedrosa because he is too fragile. Simoncelli because his size means he has to run different fuel maps to the other Honda riders - which will not make the bike easier to ride.

He will learn to stay on the bike, but his size is a serious disadvantage against his main future competition of Stoner and Lorenzo.
