Yet another MotoGP with a rider missing!
One comes back (Pedrosa) & another one goes missing due to injury....has there been a full grid at any race yet this season?

Loris Capirossi has been forced to withdraw from his home Italian MotoGP after medical checks revealed rib fractures and a 'distorted' AC joint in his shoulder.

Meaning this dude if finished. Maybe the team can get him to retire earlier so someone else can take a crack at his GP11 and a maybe get a shot at breaking into MOTOGP.

Between Ezpeleta & the MSMA the 6 engine rule has really screwed MotoGP where sub riders are concerned.

There's a European STK1000 rider doing nothing this weekend with Moto GP Ducati experience....Nicolo Canepa

They cannot see the wood for the trees, they're slowly killing the premier class

Caparossi has been responsible for some great past battles, However last season and this season tend to suggest thathis better days are over. It is not wise to keep risking serious injury. He would make an excellent Ducati test rider and it would be great maybe to see him in some team management role. Next year there will have to be a big influx of new riders as I will be supprised if Barbara, Caparossi, De Puniet, Elias and even Edwards (Bradley Smith to take his seat)will be there.

As much as I believe Loris' time has past its 'sell by date' in the premier class, I'm really sorry to see him having to sit out Mugello.
When Ducati first entered MotoGP he was the spearhead in the 990 days and did a fantastic job for them on the 990,much like Casey did for them in the current 800 era.
Sure, we cannot compare his impact on the Ducati effort in terms of win ratio, but, hell,I enjoyed him at his peak on that 2006 990 brute.
The Rubens Barrichello of MotoGP.
Enjoy watching and all the best. :)

i think loris should be on ducati factory team
he could help rossi develop 2012 bike
loris and rossi would be a big asset for ducati

i once heard, in motogp there were just rossi, capirossi, and edwards who can develop bike
is that true?
