Looks like MotoGP recently has been hit by unfortunate weather circumstances.

Not a true reflection of evefryones capability. I hope the next two day's weather is consistent.

Dovi did well and Rossi seems to be up there in damp/wettish conditions.

The Mugello circuit is beautiful, fast flowing and a true bikers circuit! :D

Back when he was with Yamaha, Rossi wouldn't have needed to come out in these conditions, too.

But with Ducati, he needs all the track exposure and miles that he can get just to get to grips with the thing.

The situation with rain has its advantages and disadvantages, with some of the advantages applying more to some of the riders than others who may feel more disadvantaged with the rain. Rossi needs dry weather to gain an advantage in setting up the GP11.1 but conversely the advantage of wet weather is good as he has used this advantageously previously when he has perfomed well in situations where it has disadvantaged other riders who have not gained an advantage. Similarly so it will be advantageous for Pedrosa who is disadvantaged by his collar bone injury that has put other riders at an advantage in the championship, however, the disadvantage is the risk of falling with a collar bone injury reducing and advantage he may gain from his honda.

How damn lucky for Rossi, with a bike that desperately need testing time a mixed condition weekend at Assen, two broken bikes at FP1 in Mugello and a wet session at FP2!

They must feel like under a curse!
