MotoGP » Home practice misery leaves Rossi 13th

"On the first bike, a wire touched a hot part and the bike stopped. On the other bike, there was a separate electrical problem, and the result was the same" – Valentino Rossi.

I bet Rossi is really missing his M1 right now. As Lorenzo pointed out for the Spanish television today (regarding future improvements for his bike and what he thought of the new gearbox Ducati has), at this level it is very difficult to improve the bikes, even with all the resources Ducati is pouring on the GP11-12-whatever and having a rider as gifted as Rossi.

It is kind of sad, though, to see Rossi struggle so much. I wonder if he regrets moving to Ducati. I have little doubt that if he stayed at Yamaha he'd be fighting for podiums most races. I don't think he could dominate anymore like he used to do, though, the young guns only get better and better and Rossi's talent peaked some time ago, but still. At least it wouldn't be so embarrasing to watch.

Just remember Mike The Bike Hailwood.

I remember him well iisus,I saw him ride at the TT he was an amazing rider. He had been away for about 10 years or so and came back on a Suzuki RG500 and set the fastest lap. I'm not sure what context you are using him here though in this thread. Are you comparing him with Rossi?

People that saying that Rossi hits the end of the road are numb twits. Pffff should take a second look at that ''BAN COMMENT SECTIONS'' comment that one of the members posted
Rossi got qalot of sympathie and I respect his motivation, just because he got a big task on his hands that doesn't mean it's over with him.

Shame that I actually have to post this, it's nearly impossible to have a good conversation on here.

I put my vote up for a ''Ban The Comment Section''

That would atleast give this webiste a new life and I hope it will be worth reading again.

i think rossi move to ducati was his best choice
how can he afford one team with JL
the man who took his WCH
also with 2010 WCH in JL hands, he surely want to be no1 guy on yamaha
except rossi can force yamaha to kick JL
issue with masao furuswa retirement surely will effect on their performance
rossi can bring yamaha to winning team also with help of furusawa
