CF chassis was like apple did to not include flash support on their gadget, no problem because still not so fatal. people can do more job on apple gadget other than only browsing in flash site. but not in ducati's case, this CF chassis is so important part like RAM in PC. what you can do on intel core i7 with 256 ram on board ?? :)

cf is to ducati and their enginers what toys are to japanese to make the girl come .common ducati we dont need cf but real alu now that you have the support of GE finance you can leave the carbon want to have a decade of advance with this technology but open your eyes you are 50 years behind.look boeing with their787 in carbon composite have 5 years delay now just becoz they want to have the leadership.but the consequence now is that you make rossi suffer and millions of fans around the world suffer becoz of you pride but humility is so hard to find in your world

you would think they would have to have a alloy chassis in the picture, from a business plan to turn up with this, next year will be a business disaster fot the Duc company

all u guys saying that only stoner can rider the duc well
its true...
but dont forget how hard stoner push himself with that duc
the risk is he gets over exhausted, too much front end crash
still remember when stoner need a break for 'misterious illness', thats over exhausted
does rossi wanna ride ducati like stoner did ?
with all the risk...
i dont think so
rossi only push when he feels good with the bike
i think most rider think the same

I would wait for the race. But I agree soon he adopts himself to the bike it will be better for all.Comparing what schumacher is going through is not relevant.Schumi had a break 3 yrs and it always takes time to settle down however great u are.vale has not been off racing but as meat lovers says Duc is different bike and stoner ended up more often on gravel which rossi has not done.Rossi will find a solution let us wait

You know, I took what raw dog said, and I believe he is right. I don't think it is rossi as much as it is the design of the ducati. not being able to sit on the frame and instead sit on the engine means a lot of the feel that you have is going to be amplified / damped by the engine and it's own personal vibrations. and that crankshaft sits farther back a good solid 5inches compared to the yamaha it looks like.

I went ahead and rotated the ducati's L4 so that the front cylinders and the crankshaft were farther forward significantly. the airbox will still be the monocoque. but now the frame connects to the swingarm instead, and the engine is longer stressed member. let me know what you think.
