So Casey gets asked about his problems in the race and he answers them and for that he gets called a moaner!

He knew that the tyres got too hot because the tyre pressure recommendation from the morning warm-up was too high.

The fact is, his bike setup was capable of better times (as witnessed in Qualifying), they were let down by the tyres in the race.

If you can't understand this, you're just a hater.

Congrats to JLo for the win and not giving up. Congrats also to Dovi for a well deserved 2nd place.

Spies had a great battle with Simmo, but came out on top. Good job!

Can't wait for the next race now...

It's good to see a bike developed by JL running so fast & challenging the Honda's. I don't know how many will accept & give credit to JL. It's good for the championship. Imagine if Yamaha had the Marlboro Sponsorship like in the yester years. It could be much faster.

Cheers - TZ750

Great race, all eyes would of been on Simo for the first lap lol i was biteing my nails on every turn, alot smarter ride by him, well done.

great ride by dovi, kinda had that feeling he was going to make a pass on the last lap, would of been nice to see if stoner could fight back, tyres were no good, did he go out to hard to quick?

Those slow motion vids of Stoner on the throttle through a turn are really fun to watch. But today we (and Casey) learned the Bridgestones are not bullet proof.
If Bridgestone goes towards softer compounds into the hot summer months as planned, this won't bode well for Casey, but will make races more exciting for sure. Laguna Seca may have cold misty mornings but when the race starts temperatures can soar. Would love to see more races where riders are sliding at the end to win.

Tires Shmires.. Stoner is not a race manager. He is full throttle till the thing either has no grip left, or it breaks... Watch the telemetry... He fully trusts the electronics to right him. No one wacks on the the throttle like he does. Honda thinks they build the bikr thats fast, and that theres nothing wrong with it.Truth is , it still has a human rider (practicaly prepubescent, weighing less than supermodels)that isn't quite as refined as the machine they think they have. Many people said Yamaha would fiure it out by mid season. I think theyve figured something out.
