what people seem to forget here is , rossi is on next years bike( under development ) , lorenzo on a bike rossi developed for him ( hasnt a prayer of doing one for himself next year ), stoner on one that has been under constant development by pedrosa( and so long as he gets the hole shot can win races but cannot race for wins ) ,,,,,, lets see where stoner and lorenzo are next year and pedrosa with marquez taking his seat i very much doubt the order will be as today .... and secretly whoever you are a big fan of. deep down you got to thing this and and know that this year is a smart move for ducati and rossi .

The issue with Stoner's tyres was not that the the higher than optimal pressure caused overheating. Quite the opposite, as higher pressures reduce deformation, which leads to slower warm up. However, as the tyre temperature increased during the race, the pressure inevitably increased, reducing the contact patch as a result and therefore grip. It's like comparing a fully inflated balloon with an under inflated one - pushing them both onto the ground, you can see which will create the bigger contact patch for the same downward force.

I have to correct that it is not just simple mistake, because tire pressures are complicated. There are range of optimum temperatures where you should keep them during racing. But they affect very much to bike handling too.

Because of different driving styles, some tires is better for some riders. If I have understand correctly main sufferer on current tires are Toni Elias. He has problems to get tires up to temp.

So conclusion is that Bridgestone has much power to affect race results.

Pepe
I can't understand what basis do you have to be so cocky. In this race particularly Rossi looked helpless and struggled against lower midfielders and the future ahead of him is really dark. Unless of course you've learned to be content with 5th and 6th places

@differentLevel

im not worried at all what happens with Rossi this season, aslong as he finish's race and scores points like hes been doing ill be happy, they already said 2011 would be a learning curve with the bike and 2012 is where it will all begin.

dont worry, im just messin with ya, you get so upset when Casey doesnt win lol

Back to reality for Spies now that the others had a fair shot at it today. Looking at Spies interviews, its clear that he knows his win was not a true reflection on what level he is at. Battling for 4th and 5th is not bad at all, but not what he wants of course. 'Unlucky' Spies.
