Schnertz in California

You do realize that Stoner finished 3rd and on the podium and not 13th right? And that he still leads the championship?

He's not exactly battling for 9th.

3rd is a good result.

9th not so much.

Best race of the year and you children are arguing like little school girls.

Since when did coming in third place become such a bad thing?

Bikes don't fight for wins, great riders do. To say anything negative about the top 3 is just a rant by a bitter fanboy.

Stoner pushed hard, couldn't break the group and used up a lot of tire in the process. If he had the HRC rear view mirrors he would have seen JLo's mistake and rode a less defensive line. Next upgrade.

Dani was unbeatable and loves this track. I remember him pushing a bucking 211V around this course. Excellent ride by the little man.

Everyone hates JLo because he can only win on VR's bike, has horrible ripoffs of celebrations that only VR is allowed to do. He is the class of the field and will be the only celebratory rider to have reason to for as long as the other guy stays around. he already beat him and pushed him out of the team last year.

Spies did not have the pace of the leaders. he couldn't hang on and faded early. he is the most consistent rider and when he smells an opportunity he rarely misses out on it. As the riders ahead lost pace they cam

Lorenzo is creaming all over rossi. Rossi has nothing on JLo. Rossi is finished. JLo best fighter and best of all time look out casey JLo breaking the No. 1 plate curse.

...they came back to him and he capitalized as usual. The same rider that always fades at the end (if he finishes) was the usual target. he needs more pace to run at the front. Wonder what the leg was about, Simo do something questionable?

Ducati had 2 different factory bikes on track, both at the behest of VR. I have no doubt in my mind that the doctor could have taken Nicky and Bautista at the end. Why didn't he, maybe because he does not want Nicky on that bike at Laguna? It will be interesting to see the decision and if the engine allocation has an impact since there is a different casing to go along with chassis that had to be in production weeks ago to be ready. Either decision is just more money pissed away by Ducati in their glorious effort to claw back the #3 manufacturer spot from Suzuki. Oh the agita in Bologna...

Great race with the top three all having a go at the front and all pushing at the limit.

These 3 young guns all gave each other respect in the press conference and throughout the race. Pity that the brainless on this site can't do the same.

After that race I would've been happy with whatever order those 3 finished in.

why most of stoner's fans and several motogp pundits and current motogp riders and ex riders especially from aussie called stoner as fastest rider on earth??

is it just because his laps times is so dominating on test day, FP, QP, WUP?

or,

is it because his ability to pull infront alone? (if other riders could'nt catch him asap)

or,

his ability to put heat on tyre so soon?

or,

is it because he's capable to make some great laps times in just 2 or 3 laps?

or,

because he's in 800 cc era?

btw,

how's stoner's riding skills history when he was in 990 cc or 250 or 125? was he already gaining his title as "fastest rider on earth'??

I do not know why everyone has a down on Casey. Remember this is his first season on the Honda and he is still getting used to it and how the tyres are going to perform over a race distance on all of the tracks. I still think that he is favourite for the championship this season.

Can anyone recall a more competitive group of riders in Moto GP? Lorenzo, Stoner, Pedrosa, Simmo, Spies, Dovi...all can win on their day. Plus we still have Rossi in the mix. This has to be the best season ever. Much more competitive than some years when only 2 or 3 riders were fighting it out for the win.
