Anybody knows why to Laguna Seca only MotoGP comes? Why no Moto2 or 125cc??? Then everybody are at Indianapolis so don't understand the difference. They don't have enough space to wellcome all three classes or what? Btw Hayden is faster than Rossi in all tracks with Desmo but makes more mistakes and is rarely constant thru the race that's why we don't see him fast proggresing.

@ebaums
I think the reason only Motogp go to Laguna is because the track owners made the decision back in 05 that race-goers wouldn't be interested in the feeder categories (which back then were 125 and 250) as they were not used to seeing engines smaller than 600cc on the tracks. Laguna reckoned it wouldn't be commercially viable and Dorna were so desperate to have a race in the US that they alowed Laguna to dictate terms.
Indianapolis has a much bigger motor racing history than Laguna so they were happy to include the feeder categories as they reckoned race-goers would consider it more "bang for their buck". Laguna always ties in AMA races with their Motogp event too.

@scampsuzi

"Bones, don't you think it rather depends on what you are riding or could you achieve similar results on a push bike?"

Take your pick suzi, either there both riding a bike that won races last year and should be this year or they are both on new bikes that they both set up them selfs and again they both should be winning this year.

Well witch is it and whats with the personal attack?

I miss Ducati at the very front, today Hayden was more aggresive and Rossi seemed to try the same. Litle more from hayden and they can have pretty decent season with 69. I strongly hope he actually coping with what he has learnt last year how to ride.

I heard that when Rossi got off he put his hand in his pocket pulled out his ipod and had got 3 stars on every level 3 game on angry birds..
Ducati want shooting for what they are giving to the greatest rider of his generation.. Preziosi is an illusionist.. nothing more.

Lorenzo and DP made Casey look like a wreckless out of control teenager today, Stoner was all over the place talk about desperate.. I bet he struggles to get rocked to sleep tonight.. proper lesson on how to ride the honda.. Way to go Dani boy!

apparently rossi is confused whether to ride gp11 or gp11.1 at laguna. this, despite the mythical development skills that all the fanboys rave about. maybe they can combine both and make a gp11.2..lol

Neither Dovi or Simo have a win, so we just have to come to the conclusion that they won't ever get one cuz this is as good as they are going to get. Come on man!!! And to sum it all up, he was sick as a ...

Respectfully suggest you check your facts. Simo is a basket case and might well never win a race despite his flashes of speed. Dovi has won a GP, finished clearly ahead of Spies last year and is comfortably beating him again this year. Yet nobody is touting Dovi as the great alien killer an he'll be lucky to still be on a factory bike next year. Spies has a contract thru end of 2012 but I stand by my suggestion that if he keeps finishing 5th and 6th then he'll struggle for another factory contract after that.
