@simon.sure they let rea throw his leg over it?just for five days to be exact, stoners bike too,(more than a joy ride do ya not think) to test parts and set ups (because factory riders could not under the rules)as for racing spies, he was a rookie(on a pile of crap) and beat him head to head in the odd race, earning praise from ben himself ?(spies is a better judge than me) so hes got that kinda raw talent, and i could predict what bostrom will do on this bike, but i wont ,because you would only think i was insulting you or ben,so if its an italian pimping for money, put bostroms on it,if its for racing put a fast racer rea on it

Great for Ben. Good thinking by LCR. Laguna is Bostrom fan country and the TV will be paying more attention to Bostrom than Elias.

3 hours to sort out a GP bike...daunting

I've always been a fan and he's a real nice guy as he took time take a picture with my son and give him an autograph a photo. I've liked him even before he raced with Ducati in WSB. Hope he does well on the LCR Honda at Laguna.

All the naggers need to take it easy nobody is putting B-Boz on a satellite team for the rest of the season he's getting a one-off due to the location, media coverage, and track knowledge. It's not a test for a possible spot. There is no expectation for him probably other than, don't crash the bike, and go enjoy yourself. If he doesn't come in last he will have done well.

BBoz knows Laguna like no other rider, better then Nicky dare I say. He is to Laguna as Scott Russell is to Daytona and say Biaggi to Brno, so i think despite his ups and downs, could actually do something for the team, just one decent run on a easy and fast bike, hes the guy.

If Ben beats another rider (exception DNF) should they not be allowed on the team flight to the next race. Out of curiousity why doesn't Dorna place the two USA Motogp races back to back? Seems silly and wasteful not to.

first let me say that I'm an american. having said that I hate this. completely hate this. marketing pure and simple. everyone complains about a lack of talent to fill MotoGP spots when a rider gets hurts and instead of using this opportunity to get a future up and comer some experience, they go with Ben Bostrom. If you have to have an American rider for this round why not give one of the newer up adn coming riders a shot? Ben isn't setting the world on fire and this is another ride that he is getting simply because of marketing. I really do hate sports more and more each day
