Ben has a fair chance of beating Toni, but what is the point of this. He is at the end of his career and will never be in MotoGP. I would rather see Blake Young on that bike.

This is fantastic!!! I've always like Ben...gracious, laid back, fun to watch, never pitches a fit, doesn't behave like a primadonna and always makes time for fans. Every one of his crews has alway commented on what a pleasure it is to work with the guy. Yes, he's in the twilight of his career but I think it's great that after all these years he gets to sling his leg over a MGP bike. Every moto racer dreams of getting a GP ride and now he gets to do it.
I vividly remember his rides with the NCR Ducati in WSBK...watching that back tire sliding all over the place on the brakes...what a pleasure it was to watch this guy back then!!
Have fun Ben!!! I'll be rootin' ya on!!

Really? , , , Really?

I see I have misjudged your perspicacity and you are a most astute observer of the sport, despite your dopey ID which caused me to misinterpret your remarks. Luckily for the home crowd, DuHamel is French Canadian born so we did not share his shame.

MotorMatters is reporting that LCR will take only 2 bikes to Laguna for both Toni and BBoz
which raises an interesting question: what if Toni destroys his bike in practice, a good possibility. Will he have to sit on the sidelines and watch BBoz ride to glory? This shows how little Toni means to the team now, a humiliation for a proud Spaniard.
