Good o see him back... still don't understand why people desert people they've supported for years when they don't perform but I do hope he see's out this season and goes to World Superbikes next season

Capirossi did the samething in 2008, when Spies replaced him at Donnington Park, and was supposed to replace him at Assen the next week, but Capirossi decided he was fit to race at Assen, and then crashed again, and could not race at Assen. Then Paul Denning,Capirossi's rally buddy, asked Spies To replace him, but since the forecast for Assen was rain for qualifying, but dry for the race, Spies said no. Spies did not like the Idea that he would not get any dry racetrack time,on a track he did not know until raceday, and since he had a two day test at Indy the next week, he said no . Paul Denning was upset at Spies for this , so in 2009, Suzuki did not sign Spies ,and Spies signed with Yamaha WSBK instead, after being a Suzuki Suported rider in the AMA since he turned 16 in July 2000 .

Spies must thank his lucky star for that one.
Let's see who can fill in for Loris on short notice this weekend? i'd like to see Martin Cardenas get the call. He beat BBoz last time out.

I have always liked Capirossi and appreciated his talent and peristance but he has been going in the wrong direction the last few years. That said, I can appreciate the racer spirit in what will likely be his last season on a MotoGP team.
