The team should give him the rest of the season off.

Bring in an up n comer.

Anyone but Loris.
He was great...but that has past.
Now he's just wasting petrol and rubber.

Ahhh... disrespectful youth... Loris although never a champion surely is a motorcycle racing legend, not only for his hundreds of participations but also for his always positive outlook, his respect for other riders and his willingness/eagerness to scrape paint with others on the track and consider it to be part of the fun, in direct contrast with the new generation of superfast but wimpy riders.

It's a shame he never managed a championship, 2006 would have been his best shot especially with the Bridgestone advantage starting to become apparent halfway throught the season and onwards (escalating to dominance in 2007).

Let are a lot (too many) guys criticizing Capirossi as prima donna for returning not fully fit. Most often than not, riders also get put down if they return only when fully fit, getting called pussy or, again, prima donnas. Rossi is insulted from trying a new challenge and not running away from it even if he seems to be failing. Lorenzo, Stoner, Pedrosa, whichever rider always get insults going their way nomatter what.
Sheeesh! If you guys don't like motogo races and their racers go watch something exciting like golf!!!

It isn't Loris's or Randy's,,or Barberas, or Karel's,,, or Nicky's ,, or VR's fault that the Ducati is a certified total piece of sh*t that ruined more careers than made winners in all of history... Sorry Filippo Preziosi,, your design is a total disaster,, that even beat the GOAT.

Back to Loris: the only problem that I have with his enthusiasm is why? Every time he gets on that cr*p, he is ruining his reputation. He was never, nor is he now a bottom third finisher..

as usual there are 2 points of view: Loris is a mystic hero that will dwell in Valhalla with the gods when he retires permanently: and second, he is a egotistical runt that can't relinquish the meager scraps of glory that now come his way and should vamoose already. I favor the latter.

An absolute hero, but its time to go and rattle Biaggi s backside, the youngsters are just too eagerly talented, bow out before you get thrown out Loris

I'd like to see Iannonne on Loris' bike.

Really ? How about, letting him prove he can claw his way to the championship in Moto2 first...

With a rookie like Marquez beating him and the likes of De Angelis topping him in the points, I'd rather see Alex on that bike, or just keep Loris instead...
