REALLY hope Hopper gets a full time ride back in GP next season on a second GSVR. Cant help thinking if he hadnt left for Kawasaki he would still be in GP. He is a real natural talent and can still cut it at the top but this time be even better as he really seems to have matured and developed his riding since his last stint in GP. Go Hop ! :)

The sooner Hopper is back in Motogp the better. He was the rider I backed when he was last in. Seems to have put his life in order which can only be good for his riding.
They've been racing at Oulton Park since the horse and chariot days and John comes in and finds a brand new line. Respect.

lol

NO.

I do things for myself - not to please strangers on the internet I don't care about.

Why don't you spend your time talking down from your high horse to the guy who actually made a nasty remark?

I met Hopper at the '07 Laguna GP, nice guy, took the time to talk and was a class act. I'm not certain he will get the ride back after BSB or next year, but if he wins the BSB he has a strong chance. I think the hidden issue is if Suzuki can support it and will develop the 1000. I would think they would be better off putting their eggs in the WSBK basket and sending him there rather than MotoGP. Probably a better and cheaper move for their rusults and

Good luck John!

I enjoy watching Hopkins race and think he would be a solid midpacker and help the Suzuki team, but Hopkins chance of actual MotoGP success given his wrist condition = meh

Suzuki needs to look big picture, as its not about one rider, but rather about the team. That means moving on from Denning and securing a new large sponsor. I have made noise about Schwantz, but honestly, simply a change from Denning would be great for the team.

reputation. They go well in AMA, but it that series is not well followed even here in the US. The BSB now gets press here in the US with Hopper, so he is a good name to keep with the Suzuki brand. All the best to him and Alvaro in Brno.

He proved this year, that with a competitive structure behind him (the crescent suzuki bsb team), he still can ride at the highest level.

It yould be nice if suzuki in the motogp did the same thing kawasaki is doing with their factory team, and re-evaluated their teams management, cause they sure are not getting the results, and are spending lots of money for nothing. It yould just be sweet if they atributted the team mangement over to jack valentine's structure. Im pretty sure they would get the most out of the bike, as they have proven to be one of the best outfits in bsb, when they lost the factory support, and still got to be the best suzuki team. Cheers
