How is Rossi a failure with 9 world championships?
Ridiculous comment.

re: SpeedTV picked it up after the race, when Hayden said he was not to pass Rossi.

Is this because Rossi was on the newer GP11.1 bike & Hayden on the older bike? Therefore not to embarrass Ducati?

I can understand why Ducati may of told Hayden not to pass Rossi, to have the GP11 beat the GP11.1 looks as though Ducati are not making progress and to be blunt they're not! I think by the end of the season Rossi will be finishing in the top 5 where Hayden will still be running mid pack like most of his years in MOTOGP. So no point in Hayden getting upset really he only won the '06 championship because of Elias knocking Rossi off in the first round then Elias beating Rossi to the line in the penultimate round. Of course Hayden would never admit that, hes a great rider but motogp is not where he belongs, he would be better off in world superbikes if he wants another world title.

Hey Dukati fan

Hey buddy. We'll agree to disagree.
Rossi obviously has talent. He has won 9 championships.
We can argue he's had the best equipment and tires over the course of his career.
But the fact of the matter is he is still a very good racer.
You need talent and a good bike. I believe the Duc is going backwards.

I agree about the assessment about Stoner. He has been very underrated and gets slammed on this forum.
Casey did ride the wheels of that dung heap.

I heard a small amount of audio on Eurosport TV (in the Ducati garage after the race) and there didn't appear to be any bad blood between the riders.

Rossi joked and hugged Nicky and said words to the effect of 'that one was mine', and Nicky said something along the lines of 'Indy is mine', or 'the next one is mine' (in reference to Indy). Nicky was smiling when he said that, no long faces or anything to suggest team orders in my view.
