Wonder how long Stoner & Lorenzo stick to their plans to avoid this round now that it is 100% going ahead. Half expect them both to continue with these plans up until qualifying day for them both to pop up.

Having said that, it could be a fine chance for Rossi & Ducati to actually win a race :)

The Motegi GP should not go ahead,The independent report is flawed, Hot particles are everywhere from Fukishima and these cannot be measuresd, you breath them in or ingest them and once you have them inside you they attack organs etc, causing cancer in the future,if i was a rider i would still refuse to go.

if someone doesn't want to go, well, that's a very respectable decision. I only hope that Stoner and Jlo don't retreat from their words. A man has to be a man and act consequently.

yes its their decision not to go but I cannot see how they can do it without being in breach of contract either with HRC / Yamaha or dorna. I can see fines and points deductions happening if they choose not to go.

Whatever they choose to do now they're going to look like cowards. Probably not a smart move.

I might see if I can blag a day off work using the same excuse too. I work in the east of the city and I have a packet of unopened noodles at home - better take the week off.

Wonder if there was a horrendous accident in spain/australia Jorge/stoner would want the sporting world to abandon then when they were bravely trying to rebuild there countries.

What if the wind changes direction so that it blows radioactive stuff towards Motegi? The test could of been conducted when the wind was blowing the opposite direction? Hence the all clears results???.... Who knows!!?? I can understand why some would have reservations about going out there. I believe the riders are bigger than the teams, & wouldn't be surprised not to see Stoner & Lorenzo boycott this one! And perhaps a few more, we'll see.....
