I agree that so far Simoncelli is a crasher.
But he has the speed to win races.
All he has to do is actually do it, which in time will come.

I would bet my house that Marco Simocelli will win more races than Dovi ever will in Moto GP.

@ monty

This is probably all moot anyway as it appears that Honda is only giving Gresini one bike next year.

If this is the case, I'm sure gresini will keep Simo, which leaves Dovi out of a seat, which is BS.

If Dovi is without a seat I hope he can replace Edwards at Tech 3. Dovi is far too good a rider to left out in the cold with a POS ducati ride or a CRT ride.

What would be really interesting is if Honda told Gresini who they were going to put on the bike. I have a feeling it wouldn't be Simo.

Dovi has had enough time to learn the factory and ride like an alien, he would be a good Suzuki partner for Alvaro.
The great Sito Pons said "it is possible to teach a fast rider not to crash, but you cannot teach a slow rider to ride fast". This seems a very apt comment about Simo's situation, stop being brainwashed by commentators and trolls, Simo will be at the top of the score sheets, he just needs a little time. I'm sure that Mr Pons knows a little more on this subject than any of us do...
