What would be even funnier than Ducati begging Stoner to come back,is Rossi crawling to HRC to give him a factory bike.

He wont do that though,he'll just get Ezpeleta to do it for him.

Its the rider not the bike, isnt it......?

Like I said last week on the Checa thread, why oh why don't Ducati just shoe horn the new 1000cc GP engine into that sweet handling trellis frame that Carlos campaigns so well. Might just make the opposition wonder what the hell hit them.!!!! and on top of that it just might go round corners.

dawg the reason they wont be testing 2012 bike,is they just recently found out that it wont work, and is a pile of sh1t,and they have not finished welding the new/latest version up yet,yep it will come ,the metal one, will it cure ducatis problem ,fk maybe not,but at least they can get the hacksaw out and re weld it to make it better

So, Casey can't develop a bike.

You guys honestly believe that if Casey never showed up to Ducati, it would magically be a better bike today?

I think it would be the same pile of crap minus the 20 some odd wins it has.

Ducati's Train of Thought:

If bike wins races, then the bike must be great!

If bike fails to win, point blame at rider and send to therapist.

Putting the MotoGP engine in the WSBK frame wouldn't work because the problem is probably not the frame, but instead the L-4 engine combined with the super stiff Bridgestone tires. The Pirellis heat up easily so the L-Twin isn't a problem in WSBK. But it is a problem in MotoGP.

Good post by scruff.
I think rossi will walk unless ducati get there shti together. Ducati know this now. Wether he goes to gresini or starts his own team next season rossi could very well be riding a honda. in the not to distant future.

They are probably building a new one from scratch, but they could make a fake test with the old one as a deception measure.

What makes no sense is keep wasting test time in the 800, either GP11 or GP11.1

@GIXXER

I don't have to "disprove" that BSB is or isn't the best national series because no one has any criteria and/or knows each series in depth to prove or disprove which series - be it BSB, AMA, All-Japan, CEV, IDM, etc - is the best or not the best. All have pluses and all have minuses - they are "national" series.

RAWDAWG,

Yer yer so you keep saying, I have asked you to set some unbiased KPI'S so we could do and evaluation and make a finite judgement. However you seem to have bottled it and tried to duck and dive out of this one.

The Ducati WSBK frame idea is a good idea if they used pirelli tyres in Motogp with V Twin Engines.

Ducati just need to stick to the knitting to make a gooD bike, not re-invent the wheel.
