Jazzy, what you need to remember is that Rossi fans are totally blind to facts.Even if he came stone dead fcking last in a race, they would still say he is improving the bike and that his performance was better than the guy who won!
Lets not forget, whenever Rossi wins a race or championship,it is by sheer skill.Whenever someone else wins it is because of pure luck, unfair advantages or plain cheating!
This is how sad they are. What is the excuse going to be when he loses the championship again this year?

@ southerner

what i said was based on assumptions ( again )

rossi screwed up in the beginning

"We started with the goal of fighting with the group ahead of us, but unfortunately we made a small mistake with the start procedure for heating the tyres and the first two laps were difficult, without enough grip. Its a lesson that we will remember next time. I didnt have a great start like I did at Laguna, for example. That would have helped a lot, because from the third lap to the finish, I had the same pace as the two Yamahas, and even Sic wasnt so far ahead."

I've been waiting to see Lorenzo and Spies race closely on the track for some time now, he is the only top rider Ben hasn't raced in close proximity with and passed. It was close today and it seemed like Ben caught him pretty fast, but mysteriously got slower the closer he got to him , or perhaps Lorenzo sped up. It's hard to say but it will get interesting at Yamaha if Ben can get up to the front with Jorge in the future.

Lorenzo speed up a bit and Spies slowed down a bit, lap analysis on the MotoGP website shows this clearly.

Spies could have gone faster if Lorenzo wasn't in front of him, but whether or not Lorenzo had enough in reserve had Spies actually challenged him is open to debate.
