The Suter CRT is plain slow...fastest SBK lap was from Crutchlow in 2010 and was a 1m 58.018s which compared with the Suter (2m 0.626s) is over 2 seconds faster...and almost 4 seconds compared to Stoners time of today is way too much, ok the bike is developing but 4 seconds in racing is too much

Nice!

The Honda and Yamaha 1000cc bikes look to be quick out of the box. I wonder what Ducati thinks?

Isn't Yamaha testing a new 800cc engine today as well?

Nicky looks to have put in a faster lap on the GP11.1 today than he did on the GP11 yesterday.

1m58s lap WSBK times are on Superpole qualifying tyres that last 1 lap. Better to look at warmup, qualifying for Superpole and race. Warmup and qualifying they were doing 2m00s laps at best, still quicker than the Suter but it's still early for that.

It looks like Spies is liking the 1000. Could 2012 be his year?

Ducati must be getting even more worried now! They surely regret taking Rossi on now, and must realise how good Stoner on their bike!

I wonder if Rossi can claim back his alien status with Ducati, the manufacturer who Stoner got his alien status with, and then goes on to take it a step further with an unfamiliar bike.

Stoner is simply awesome! Only Rossi fans would disagree with that for sure!

Casey fast right out of the blocks,no surprise there.
Very encouraging start for Ben too.The Hondas and Yamahas seem to be as quick as we all thought they were going to be!
Next year could be a cracker!
Ducati still a bit off the pace but early doors yet.Lets give them a chance before condemning them to death!

It looks as though the men with the skills and the balls to ride a GP fast are where they should be, Stoner 1st and Rossi, well maybe his skill level has shrunk, along with other things.
