could be a moot point if JLo is never headed by Spies. Why cloud the air with talk of team orders? We can only guess at it right now. It'd be nice if Yamaha put pen to paper on it making it official but they arent that stupid.

Trigger, I guess you forgot all about Fabrizio running right into Ben and taking him out of a race he was leading. Spies dominated his one year in WSBK 11 out of 14 poles and 14 wins out of 28 races, yeah he was just lucky. lol think again.

Well, go to Japan and get the point. Casey Stoner is not going to Japan. Lorenzo will get 25 points in there if he go to Japan.
You do not need to cry for help from team order.

All a bit of a grey area to me. I mean Spies may help Lorenzo and Yamaha but in a manner that wouldn't disappoint his fans. If he slowed a tenth or two at the end of the race and Lorenzo passed him who would really know if this was deliberate by watching the race on TV or at the track? But inside the loop Yamaha would know he did this to aid Lorenzo which may bring Ben more rewards in the future for the sake of dropping 5 points or less to Lorenzo.

@Joeski, re: The situation last year at Montegi with Rossi and JL was different. JL title was not in jeopardy with a top 5, rossi giving him a position would have had no benefits whatsoever. Remember JL scored the most points ever in a season, last year.. so the battle was not just for Rossi to back off...

it wasn't the question of giving the position, it was a question of how Vale made the passes. And yes if JLo would have backed up and crashed like Stoner in Laguna in 2008 and got hurt his title would have been in jeopardy.
