I can see BSB being a target for several World-level riders next season. Tommy Hill thinks he can cut it on the WSBK stage (not too sure about that frankly, but good luck to him), so I reckon he'll take whatever he can get in that paddock just to get there again.
Hopkins will no doubt go to WSBK or MotoGP whether he wins BSB or not. I can see Shakey Byrne staying put with HMPlant rather than taking second-rate rides in WSBK again and never being near the podium.
And... I would predict that the likes of Toseland, Vermeulen and even Haga & Sykes may well find a new resting place on the quirky circuits of good old Blighty !!! That'll make for interesting racing for sure. Shakey v Toseland v Haga v Vermeulen v Edwards !!

Great news! Colin is a legend and his post qualifying thoughts at Silverstone are legendary!!!
To me Colin is a breathe of fresh air and long may he continue to ride.
When he does retire he will have long career as a commentator, pundit or comedian!!Or a comic actor!
Keep going Colin

well said zane,i would rather see him race for glory in wsbk, rather than a pay slip in a midfield gp team,i think a good ride in wsbk would reignite him (ala checa),and with his experience he could mount a title challenge,on a decent bike.

Pinky- Why should he retire? He's top non factory rider and faster than most of the young riders. If they want his seat they have to take it from him. As much as I want more brits Crutchlow is hardly pushing him is he? and neither did Toesland.
With a bigger grid guaranteed next year Colin should definatley have a seat in Motogp if he wants it. With the new bikes, engines and chassis etc there will be plenty of development riding to be done and Edwards experience will pay of for whichever team he chooses

cruthlow? pffft a 26year old from wsbk will never cut it in motogp

i'm talking about youngster from the 250 class, bradle and eventually marquez et al

with him staying there till he basically cant ride no more aint helping the sport and blocking the progress of younger riders

hes gone backwards every year..... has zero chance of winning the wc let along a race. sooo GTFO!
