The King is dead, long live the King!

if that is the case why didnt Stoner win 4 WC when he was with Ducati?

nothing againts Casey, he is brilliant, but comments like this are crap.

Long way to go in the season, hope he stays on the bike.

Ducati bean counters must have warn out a bunch of calculators, working out how to pay for this italian bike, italian team, italian rider , self indulgent ego driven adventure into marking heaven.

someone will be doing the numbers looking for the point where there better off pulling the pin

and its not even half over.

Rossi is about to ride the machinery and track Stoner rode the weekend before. Stoner is about to ride the same machinery as Pedrosa. The result? Stoner straight to the top of the timesheets. Rossi straight to the bottom of the timesheets. The racing in 2011 has not been too much of an improvement in competitive terms. As a trend, Stoner's true pace has been around the 1st mark. Rossi's true pace has been around the 7th mark, usually around a second or more off Stoner's pace. More importantly, from an analysis perspective, Rossi's results are nowhere near even Stoner's worst years on the Ducati.

As the 2011 season has rolled on, we've seen the arrogance of Rossi, Rossi's camp and Rossi worshippers decrease at an increasing rate and we've seen their desperation to find a scapegoat 'explanation' increase at an increasing rate. Month by month the

Month by month the 'explanations' of Rossi worshippers become more and more desperate as they try to come up with anything except the reality that is there for all to see. First, it was "oh, he just needs to get used to the bike", "oh, he just needs to develop the bike to suite his style", "oh, he just needs to fix the mess Stoner made". It them moves to "ah, its my shoulder". It then moves to "Ducati can't build a bike that can podium let alone win". It then moves to, "oh Rossi was hired to develop the 2012 bike", "oh Rossi was hired to make the bike rideable for all riders" - utter nonsense. It then moves to, one of the stupidest things I've heard in motorsport, "he beat Casey's time from last year" - people, if you do not understand just how stupid that statement is you have no business making ANY comment about motorsport. It then moves to, "hey, he's not crashing like Stoner. what do you want, someone who is consistent or someone who wins or bins" - please. It then moves

It then moves to their last straw to be clutched, "he's coming 4th in the championship the same as Stoner in the last 2 seasons".

Instead of clinging to all the above bullsh!t, it's time to face facts - Rossi got on the same machinery as Stoner and was slower. That's it. It is now part of MotoGP history and it cannot be refuted.

Does this mean that Rossi's 7 championsh

It's strange how times change.
Last year and even worse the previous year there were only a handful of Casey fans, most comments were of the Stoner moaner type.
Now fans of GP racing are seeing just how talented Casey is. Still his haters can only say he's on the best bike
Does ANY TRUE GP FAN truly believe Honda would be on top of the manufactures table if Casey was not there I for one don't think so.
If one stops and thinks about it.
Casey's 07 title (Ducati the fastest bike in the paddock) true also (the worst handling)Casey was lets face it green only 20, still he romped it.
I remember in 06 When Vale was asked who his greatest threat was he said Casey, we will never know if he truly meant that statement or was just taking the pi&& out of who he really thought was his nearest rival, but he did say it and so it came to pass.
Danni has been with Honda forever, he will never be MotoGP WC, Casey was and will be for some time top man.
