Ducati should be embarassed. I was at indy, and the fact that two customer bikes had to retire, the works bikes did not perform at all (can't blame rossi if haden did worse) and the customer bikes did not do much better. Only Barberra got his bike to work only to go down at the last turn. String the management up and have them hung in a public square.

Of course that was the problem Vale, just another of your many excuses to cover that fact that you are'nt as talented as Casey and you have been caught out and made to look like the guy who has always had the best of everything through out your career unlike Casey. LOL.

Whoever convinced Hayden to use a soft tire at a track that's been eating the hards faster than US cops eat Donkin Donuts wanted to make sure he didn't finish in front of Rossi.

This is already a pathetic story. Excuses left and right. It's clear that the Ducati is not a good motogp bike. Casey + Ducati was probably the exception from the rule and the match made in heaven.

I'm no Rossi fan, but I'm sorry that Rossi's performance is sooo bad on the Ducati, but it seems that it's the bike and no talent can make it work better. The fans hoped for much more, not riding in the middle of the pack.

So, Ducati... back to the drawing board.

Ducati has made Val lose his alien status for this season, the bike has made him mortal again. Hayden, in an interview after the race, has hinted that he's worried already about next season, the Ducati has serious issues. Hope they can resolve them soon, it's sad to see Val so bummed out.

Vito - Nicky we want to fit your bike with the soft tire for the race.

Nicky - I will only last 7 laps and probably crash. I'll never last the race.

Vito - Since you have a GP11.1 now we hope to finally get some data from the bike being ridden on the limit so we have an idea of the performance. 6 months after Vale's team has studied your data and been using the new parts we will give them to you.

Nicky - New parts that Vale approved! OK boss, I'm in. Maybe my crash will get us some TV time to make the sponsors happy. I need to do something, I see that Vale took up smoking so I want to do my part in getting some PR.

Lol! This is a prototype class racing. Each manufacture has it's own prototype bike design to be developed and fight for the win. Ducati has released bunch of updates since 2011 started, but the lead rider refused to ride the Ducati design the way it's supposed to.

How could the critics blame Ducati and force them to make a copy of Japanese bike so the lead rider able to ride it without much of efforts?

I think it's much cheaper for Ducati lease an OEM Japanese bike and put a Ducati sticker on it, so the lazy lead rider could be competitive again. But then it's considered a failure since they've already spend a lots of fortunes just to develop a rider not their own bike.
