According to some, Ducati were going to be so lucky to get the fabulous development skills because Stoner was no good at development. The last of the "Stoner" bikes with a second-string ex-moto2 rider rookie in the class is faster than the newly-developed Ducati.

Yep - luck indeed, the sort you get when you find your wife is exactly like your mother-in-law. And Sooooo cheap, too!

Once again it proves what a bargin Ducati got when Stoner was their guy.

The satellite bikes arent better than the factory bikes. The satellite riders are better than the factory riders.

If Rossi was on a satellite bike he'd be last every race, he should follow his mate capirossi and retire.

Rossi has shown Stoner to be a legend, Stoner had to develop and setup his pig out of a spare parts bin that consisted mainly of a set of old dampers and a few other odds and sods they gave him at the start of the year.

Must of cost Ducati at least a couple of grand for the bin of parts and he could find problems, solve them and setup the bike to get podiums and wins.

Rossi's 15 million for 1 year is more than double what they paid Stoner for 4 years. Add in their losses for all this development garbage plus loss of face to their sponsors and you have an EPIC FAIL.

I'd like to argue but can't really, to have hector and alvaro ahead particularly as hector is on a Ducati, really leaves me shaking my head. One thing to notice but top 6 is made up of 4 factory Hondas and 2 Factory Yams. Also yes what's the deal with Lorenzo, maybe Spies is funking with his head, time for a wall...
