MotoGP » Edwards excels, two falls for Crutchlow

"There's not much between fourth and seventh and to be just over a tenth behind Ben on the factory Yamaha proves what a good job we've done" - Colin Edwards.

If memory serves me, crashing is not that unusual in rookie racers, tho' those destined for stardom make fewer it is true. Cal needs to concentrate on out pointing Karel to at least have SOMETHING to show for his debut (and maybe only) season.

"I think I was eighth on the timesheets when I had the first crash, so I know I could have been in the top ten on the grid".
Has anyone told Cal that until the last 10minutes of the session the riders usually lap on race tyres, and don't display their ultimate 1 lap pace? Sorry Cal, but you are out of your depth in this grid. You consider yourself the 'top rookie', however you are on a far superior package to Karel Abraham - who incidently is still outperforming you. As Losing Interest said, maybe time to reconsider things...

poor crutchlow is going from bad to worse! i said it before, id keep edwards for another year, you would be gauranteed a couple of top six finishes going into a season! And i think id have to give some other young rider a go at this stage!

Last 10 minutes of the qualifying session for motogp 2 things are certain to happen, hectic dash for their fastest laps and shot of Cal Crutchlow crashing/running-on/getting-up/remounting (after any of the previous)
It's like watching all the previous gp's qualifying session over and over again.
Odds on another crash tomorrow?

A bit too good to be going CRT, he was always better on the litre bikes anyway. Tech 3 should've stuck with him, he may not excel but he is consistent.

He knows his front ends too, Ducati should of asked for his advice maybe.

Cal should do the decent thing and quit at the end of the season.
An old codger like Colin is whooping his ass every race so things aren't looking good for next year.

Herve should keep Colin and make room for the next Brit no hoper to have a go - probably Bradley.

some loon on here named "homer simpson for president" responded quite violently a few days ago when i mentioned that tech 3 is the sat team to be in and of the last 4 riders to ride for them, only edwards and spies got the job done.
