You might be onto something there. When Stoner originally let it out that he had injured himself at Assen, he said the injury prevented him from doing strength training. It's been a few weeks now and he says the neck is still a problem. If that's the case, a few weeks without the optimum strength training might be the issue. I personally believe he is making a mistake (on this occasion) with his open-book statements to the media. But, when he says his neck is still causing him problems, I believe him.

@The second thing is the fans behavior in Italy booing Jorge. Real class acts with Rossi's response being "This is Italy" meaning what exactly?....that Italians have no class?

Italian fans boing a spaniard.. that is unheard of.!
this happens everywhere in any sport, wait till rossi his spain , they will boo him.
actually no they wont, they cheer him more then their own home boy

Does anyone notice one of the most crucial part of the track.. the double apex at the end of the straight. That is a make or break turn, u either gain lots or lose lots. Notice how they go in full throttle right up to d middle of the double apex, get the right speed n gear, dive in and full throttle at just before the next apex, wobbling your way out from all that power? Who, in the right frame of mind, would battle Lorenzo on that side balanced Yamaha whilst being fatigued? Sure you can be crazy, try, and see your rear wheel chasing your front. Stoner's reason is being told as it is, but unfortunately not many understand that what they are doing cannot be done at half fit. Is that moaning?

Rossi dropped like a stone in a vacuum chamber after lap three????, give or take a lap. Lost close to a second a lap after that. He's toast. That's my take on the riding of Rosey at Misano today.

Stoner third? So? Can't win every race and won't win every race. Big deal. Neither can nor will anybody else.

People are wrong to call Stoner a moaner everytime. Pedrosa for example spoke for 2 minutes on his bike/set up issues explaining why he didn't win. Imagine if Stoner said that!...the haters would be falling over themselves to post their drivel on crashnet. Yet not one word against Pedrosa. Rightly so cos most bike fans actually like to hear this type of info..not just 'i wasn't fast enough today' = end of press conference = boring. Please comment without prejudice cos it's getting tedious.

I dont think he even bothered mentioning his old injury in the press conference but think I overheard him mention it when talking to W Rainey, cant say i blame him for keeping it to himself after the criticism he has come under in the past!

He may not be able to shake it till the end of year break but I dont think it can stop him from taking the championship, he is in such a strong position points wise and pace wise.

Casey saying it how it was seems to have provided fuel to the fire for those people who look for every opportunity to put him down. But surely if he was having concentration issues (due to tiredenss), then bagging good points rather than crashing was the best course for him to take.
