Finally Marco comes on top against Dovi and Spies for the first time of the season. Great battle for forth spot. Hands off to marco as well to dovi and spies for giving us something to grit out teeth. Dovi and spies good try but this race is marco's race so job well done on your part. Congrats to JLO for winning the race and stop casey's domination in the past three races. I am just wondering why we always here something is wrong when they didn't win? I mean you have been in press conference and other interview after FP1,2,3 and have not say something about being tired and haven't slept since last week? Why say it now? It made looks like you make up a reason for not able to fight jorge the whole race. It's clear show that he was struggling with grip just like other ride and can't run the pace that you show during FP. Anyway casey still lead the championship so jorge need to work mighty hard to beat casey.

Dovi and Marco had a great battle but it looked to me like Spies was just sitting and watching with no clue how to get past until his screwball banzai attempt in the last lap nearly took them all out. If Marco had made that move he'd be in front of the disciplinary commission again getting his wrist slapped.
I can understand Spies frustration with his disappointing results this year but he needs to learn to learn that he ain't gonna beat these guys if he keeps giving everyone a 5 lap headstart at the beginning of each race.

Come on Dovi, you have around 22Kgs less to haul around than Simo, if you've had fuel consumption issues, then what the hell has he had to be putting up with.

And that also means a roughly 10% better power to weight ratio.. so I should hope you have been able to match Simo on acceleration (it's been noticable most of the year that you've had an advantage in that area)

Elbowz, seriously, or are you being saracstic? Dovi is doing much better than Spies, and Marco seems to be improving and calming down. Spies is not improving and is all over the place and he STILL has not sorting his starts out!

Spies looked scared behind these guys and didnt have a chance of getting past them. Lets face it, the majority of Spies' 'overtakes' this year has been because others made mistakes. He's just soft and doesnt have that killer instict that the other 2 demonstrated yesterday.

Spies overtakes have been because of others mistakes.

Rossi at Misano fair and square.
Lorenzo, Hayden, Dovi, Simo all fair and square.
Pedrosa, Hayden Jerez all fair and square
Hayden Le Mans again fair and square.

@HJC

Yeah Spies is scared and he only went from 9th to 3rd in the dry at Indy because everyone made mistakes! Lmao! Since Spies isn't improving, how many other riders have gone from 9th to 3rd in the dry without anyone falling in front of him?

You don't know what you're looking at or just hating. Like Indy last week, Spies was making all his time up in the corners - he had nothing for them on the straights. It's hard to out brake anyone if you can't get up in the slip stream.

And how long has Dovi been in MotoGP? So shouldn't he be a bit better than Spies? And yeah, Marco is improving - he's staying on the bike! Let's not act like he's doing so much better than Spies - because he's not and there is no evidence that says otherwise.

@RawDogg ... how many other riders have gone from 9th to 3rd in the dry without anyone falling in front of him?
.
How many other riders with start every race by losing 5 places from their qualifying position?
.
I'm sure if JL, CS, or DP started Lap 2 in 9th or 10th each week we'd be seeing epic charges thru the field from them too. Watching Spies run off a series of fastest laps late in the race when the leaders have already sorted out the podium spots and are cruising to the finish is not convincing anyone he is championship material.
