@I have one gear - Because of regulations Laguna Seca can only host some events during the year. The promoters prefer to run AMA (they already has a fan base) with MotoGP.

You would think arrangements could be made to hold races in each country closer together to save money! Why travel back and forward all the time? The financial aspect must be astronomical. If they could save on this, maybe more teams could afford to enter. This would also help with the fatigue that some suffer from!!
