MotoGP » What would be your dream MotoGP 2012 grid?

For a bit of fun, we've compiled a 'dream grid' for MotoGP 2012 - not with the rider line-ups we expect to see, but the rider line-ups we would like to see...

Rossi will win for sure,he is unbeatable.

Judging by his current performance, this statement is false.

Reposol Honda: Casey and Pedrosa
Casey because he seems to be gelling with the bike very well and Pedrosa since if he's not injured, he can ride it as well or better than Casey to a point.

Factory Yamaha: Lorenzo and Spies
Current line-up is perfect, and with the 1000cc engines comming into play I think Spies will perform better than he is now (we shall see though)

Ducati: Rossi and Simo (same as crash)
Rossi needs to put up or shut up. He commented how Stoner wasn't pushing the bike and is now realizing he needs to either eat his words or start making progress with the bike. Simo because he would do well to learn directly from Rossi

Tech 3: Bautista and Hayden
I think if they both had a decent bike they would be able to show their real ability on a bike. The Suzuki and Ducati are currently pigs of a bike.

Gresini: Barbera an

My dream grid would have more, cheaper bikes on it with no electronics so that more riders can actually compete, MotoGP should learn from the rule changes in BSB. Nobody wants electronics, they only cost money and ruin racing - why are they still there?

Honda = Stoner and Rossi, just to show how much better Stoner is than him on equal machinery. Pedrosa isn't an equal to either and never will be.

Ducati = Pedrosa and Lorenzo, just to emphasize a point. Pedrosa would be a total fail and Lorenzo would get podiums.

Yamaha = Dovi and Spies.

LCR = Simoncelli, perfect match

@ RawDawg

'How about some actual reporting?'

Here's some for you RD: Bradl's plan to take a slot at LCR is reported to have collapsed due to sponsor Viessman backing out. So that now leaves Bradl looking at another year in Moto2 unless he can still secure a seat at Tech 3. Gresini could maybe accommodate him too, but probably only on an older 800, as funds are tight.

@ Rawdawg

Again, total agree.

How about some news? How about some in depth coverage of the WSBK tests at Misano?
How about some journalism to find out what's happening with the CRT teams next year? Who's gonna be riding the Marc VDS/BMW? How is development on the FTR and other bikes coming? What'll they look like?

I can also sit back, smoke a J and imagine some cool sh1t, but no one's interested in what I day dream.
