Not a ducati track? Hmmm 2010 1st & 3rd! Not a bad effort from Vale for fp1, he's usually 12th or so.
My guess is fp2 times will be slashed by the front runners by at least another second or so....

Just hope for a good tight all action race :)

Yep big call Iggy. Still good to see Dani take it to him, if he takes points of Stoner then at least we may/can see a run to the end of the season betwee Stoner and Jorge. As for Rossi the only positive is that he isn't way down but he actually tends to go backwards in practice as we get to qualifying which ain't good. I would assume he would try the alum first but who knows.

lol at its all doom for CS, BS... Check what Paul Denning has said...

FP1 Bautista used same soft tyre all session, finished at the end. Other guys except 11 and 27 all used new hard. Better than it looks!

The end of Stoner? Seriously??!??!?! IT'S FP1 PEOPLE!!!
And he's still 3rd! Are you smoking something VERY strong?

OMG... Best laugh I've had in a while.
Casey still has 4 sessions before the race.

On a serious note. Nice to see Dani up top again, even though I'm not a massive fan. George looking strong again and Sic and Dovi up there too!

Come on Ben, pull your socks up!!!

Only Dani and Rossi in the top 10 set their best times on the harder tyre this morning,, gonna be real hot so the race should the be the harder tyre..though they've all raced the so called softer one the last couple of races and it easily gone race distance. All is not what it seems except that Dani is showing Casey what the honda can do at aragorn..

I guess, Lorenzo will strong this time without worrying the worn engine like last year. Stoner has a lot of work to do this weekend with learning the Honda finest setting. He should be faster on Ducati though than the Honda for a track like Aragon. More lean angle and tunable to a smoothest engine not like the Honda.

The dark horse this round will be the Ben Spies. For first time I think he will fight either Stoner or Pedrosa for the last podium position.

its called sarcasm or taking the p1ss and it may even be considered as facetious. it was not serious and I apologise to all and any who may have experienced the posting as abusive, inappropriate, a personal attack or an attack on a rider. I have been booted of this site for less. Still Rossi in, what is it, 8th. How good is that!!! 8th and only free practice 1!!!

"Valentino Rossi debuted a new aluminum chassis replacing the current carbon fiber one and after running off the track twice upon his first outing with it"

this is kinda worrying, but at least he must have been feeling comfortable enough to push it into the turns.

i dont think Rossi has any idea what he is doing. At least i hope he doesn't. If he is where he is and he knows exactly what he is doing then he has a lot of explaining to do.
