Rossi looks like he is calculating the cog of the Ducati on his desktop whilst working out the inertia forces on his traction control program.

What a guy, what an engineer, what a particle physics programmer, what a god....and he still has time for a press conference.

Buy of the century for Ducati....that's for sure.

@Derp: yes you are correct. Either he will win by a mile or he may get t boned. I hope he doesn't get t bones as this will probably cause him to not win the race. T boning (or at least being taken out by another rider) historically has been a problem at Japanese races due to the large number of wild cards. My concern is that Stoner may be a victim of this and will there fore more than likely not win the race. This is why i am not sure he will win by a mile. See it's all part of the event. You may be new to this sport so just watch and dont pay too much attention to what people write on this site. Unless it's about Rossi. Every thing positive about Rossi is absolutely correct and any thing negative is wrong. Go Rossi you have won 57 WC and now you're down to starting in pit lane. Go Rossi. Really go.

Whats wrong with Rossi starting in pit lane?

It's lonely at the back and good practice for him when he takes up the Pramac contract in 2013 with bill's bakery as title sponsors.
