The last 4 races are a formality we know how it will end.

There are those that will claim Honda is winning this year but consider this.

Looking back at the news reports of 2010 between when rossi announced the switch and before stoner showed his hand on the honda at the test in Jerez, everyone thought 2011 was going to be between Jorge and Valentino.

The last 6 races of 2010 when the 2011 bikes were pretty much finalized were won by

Ducati (stoner) 3

Yamaha (Lorenzo) 2

Yamaha (rossi) 1

Honda 0

The test in Jerez is when Honda made a big step forward, putting a new rider on it was worth a lot more than any trick gearbox!

Stoner is winning not Honda!

gonen6t thinks I still find it amazing that some dopey kids think that Stoner could still win on the Ducati over the vastly improved Honda. Go figure. Flame on gang of the clueless.

You are the clueless one. The Honda is the same package as last years bike and so is the yamaha. Every statement made by mechanics and engineers involved with the bikes confirms this. What also confirms this is that the yam is still running second in the championship and if spies was on his game could be in 3rd or 4th as well. The difference is the new honda riider. Stoners old times on last years duc would have put him on the podium including the top step in several races this year. You have pulled your post out of your bottom and then have the dimwittedness to accuse others of being dumb for knowing the actual times and the facts about the bikes. Please try to back up your story. Tell us the developments made by honda on this years bike? was it engine power? please give the figures in kilowats..

was it a new gearbox? was it new frame? was it a new secret computer code? maybe a new specal fairing paint that evades radar and reduces resistance?

Please tell us I can not wait for your astonishing insights. I am sure Ducati would pay you millions for your insider information..... ps dont take a check insist on cash.

bikenut I realise your factual earlier factual post showing the last 6 results from last year was exactly my point but I felt that it was to factual and reasonable and nice and would go over the heads of the anti stoner at all costs posters. So bravo to you for your post which goes right to the heart of the silly Honda is by far the best bike theory.

Rossi 12th??? I know its only practice and Rossi has always qualified slower than his race pace but put his sad face together with this and you have a shattered man. I was happy to see him eat some humble pie this year but this is goin too far. Get out of that contract and get on even a satelite team or you are history. He is no longer the best but he should be podium material and getting some wins each year for years to come. At this rate he will be jumping from his hotel window soon. I do not want this to happen. He is one of the top 4 on a good bike and it would be a lot more fun watching him fight with the others than watching the current show. As much as I am a stoner fan I want Rossi back for the enjoyment factor. Fs Sake give Duc the money back and buy your own satelite team Vale.

@ bikenut

You forget very quickly mate, leading up to the Japanese gran prix of last year there were news headlines about whether Pedrosa was going to catch Lorenzo in the championship, Pedrosa had won 2 races in a row and almost won aragon too. It was only the incident he had when the throttle locked open and broke his collarbone the first time that ruined his chances of catching the Yamaha with 4 races to go.

The fact is that the Honda came out of last years summer break a new machine. It hasn't been just because of stoner this year. I'm not going to say Stoner hasn't made that bike work for himself and that he isn't a great rider- he is certainly the fastest out there now but to say the success of Honda this year only comes down to Casey is not true.
