'no fool' or should that be 'the biggest fool'

I'm quite happy to adore any 'fake' that has 9, yes that's nine, I'll repeat that just in case you missed it - NINE world chamionships to his name.

Tell me fool how many world championships have Jorge and Casey between them or indeed the whole of the MotoGP field? And how many do they need to win to become fakes in your eyes.

Bring on the fake hmmmmm!!!!

crachet u u missing the point and blind by that no.9

since last year
it showed that on same level of bike lorenzo can beat rossi

and about 9 title
yes rossi has 9 title who cannot ride a ducati
which prove how great casey stoner talent to tame the bike

seems like u either rossi die hard fans or new to motogp

i dont know who started the word fake but stop using it, this year rossi show the world how great casey stoner when he rode the ducrappi, and rossi cannot ride it like casey stoner

if rossi is a legend
lorenzo beat the legend last year
and this year stoner beat the legend who beat the legend
the bottom line is rossi is not as good as lorenzo or stoner

@ Bikenut

Yes in the time between Rossi making the announcement and stoner getting on- Honda did not win... Why? because Dani had a broken collarbone and finished the remainder of the season strapped- but before the events of the throttle being stuck open Honda had seemingly turned it around and the bike was looking the strongest.

Out of the mid season break results

Danis results 2wins 2seconds
Lorenzo's 1win 1second 1third 1fourth

Stoner jumped on at Valencia and was like a duck to water with the bike- of course he would after riding that front end, problem plagued duke

Anyone of the top 4 riders getting onto the Honda this year would of made it worked - Pedrosa was just unlucky yet again with injury at le mans not to be able to show his true performance on obviously the most dominant bike.

Hats off to Stoner he is the deserved champion, he has raced well on the best bike

@Jd002 no point in debating stuff that is conjecture, I will question "anyone of the top 4 riders" comment who actually are they? Stoner has to be one and Jorge obviously another but who are the other 2? (serious question)

In my world injury or illness = fail, its not another form of winning, harsh? maybe but thats how it has to be, there are no points for injury or illness.

"Pedrosa was just unlucky yet again with injury at le mans not to be able to show his true performance"

what is his true performance? hes won a few races but at the end of the day he is outclassed by both Stoner and Lorenzo, even Dovi is beating him in the championship.

Remember no allowances/points for injury.

"but before the events of the throttle being stuck open Honda had seemingly turned it around and the bike was looking the strongest."

By this do you mean he had won a couple of races?

2010 races were won by and in the following order -
Thats 2 to Vale, 3 to Casey

Thats 2 to Vale, 3 to Casey 3 to Dani and 10 to Jorge,
I dont think Dani was ever going to "turn the championship around" Jorge had already won 8 races and Dani's form in previous years just doesnt lend itself to that notion.

Dani is a fast rider but they are all fast up near the front.

If Stoner hadnt gone to Honda, Jorge would be leading again not Dani and we would be talking about how dominant the Yamaha is again this year, this is a fact not opinion as it is Jorge coming second not Dovi or Dani.

@ Bikenut

I am speaking of the top 4 from last year Val, jlo, casey and dani.

Last year chasing down Lorenzo seemed very far fetched, I agree, but it was possible and websites weren't ruling it out because of the way that the Honda was performing compared to Yamaha in those races coming out of the break.

Conjecture or not what your saying is because Dani, (Let's face it, Honda's only real hope for the WC last year), was not showing results for the last few races due to injury, that the Honda was a dog up until the end of the season when they got a 100% fit top class rider onto it despite showing the significantly improved results coming out of mid season: 2wins 2seconds from 4 races

Pedrosa missed 3 races this year due to injury which outlandishly assuming he had won them all would still only have him on 245 points. Stoner is on 284 points and 39 points clear of pedrosa. Even after being takes out of a race by some clown on a ducati in one race. Going by his form this year (never off the podium) I think it's fair to say stoner would have picked up at least another 16 points and have him 55point clear of pedrosa. Dani can be fast but just isnt consistent enough , so doesn't have what it takes to win the motogp crOwn.

Dani can be fast but he seems to be in a cycle of getting fast and then crashing recovering getting fast again then crashing....dont think he is ready to win a championship at this point either

These results were by far an improvement from earlier in the season and showed that it was at this point is where the Honda started to come good in it's 800 era. (sad it took them so long).

As for this year, I don't like using the Lemans incident as an excuse but it's not fair to say Dani hasn't shown performance this year when he missed three 3 races. Prior to Rnd4 he was ultra competitive especially after getting the shoulder surgery to fix last years issue.

I mean, imagine if this year the result had come down to rossi taking out stoner?
