A 5.0 to 5.9 magnitude quake is considered 'moderate'They can cause major damage to poorly constructed buildings over small regions. At most slight damage to better designed ones.

Frequency - 800 per year worldwide.

I've always been covered about Focus and Cocentration for the riders. At the limit on these bikes, my problem isn't with Japan it's with PRE-conceived assumptions that there at least a little worried.
Point is, dangerous? Most likely not bit the placebo effect I fear may hamper the riders safety as far as where there heads remain this weekend.

I guess the Aragon power failure that day seem has a purpose to prepare MotoGP teams in case such similar problem occurred caused by the earthquake in Japan.

It's like traveling to another planet when they've to bring their own food and drink. I think Lorenzo's space suit finally being put into a good use for the radiation protection...

They don't "have to" bring food and water. They're just being *****s who refuse to believe what scientists and experts say. Flying food to Japan has exposed that food to more radiation than the damaged nuclear power plant did to local food and water.

But it's like talking to a water melon. They are so stupid and stubborn about their radiation angst, they rather poison themselves than listening to people who know. Strange behaviour for adult persons.

edit: oh and btw, 5.6 is weaker than the US East Coast quake 1 month ago...

fockyerdoder, there are countless news reports of contaminated food in Japan...that includes beef, produce, and water. The "scientists and experts" only cleared Motegi based on the level of radiation in the air. I find it interesting you're so quick to criticize yet you seem to know nothing of the situation.

Yeah right. Dont watch FOX Action News if you want any useful information. The contamination in Japan is currently lower than in some cities in Europe, like Bologna for example. If you have a remotely big farm around your home chances are your local groundwater is more contaminated than Japanese rivers.

Dont try to tell me what I do or dont know...

lets hope its a good and safe weekend for all but especially japan who seem to be dealing with matter extremely well, as for the earthquakes well i would imagine that any earthquakes are healthy to be around whether they are 5.0 5.6 or 9.0 it means movment that is totally out of our hands as a human race.
but like i said lets hope it all goes well
COME ON JAPAN xx

Hmmmm, let's see... USA Today, CNN, NY Times, LA Times...yah those are useless sources. Say whatever you need on a message board to feel better about yourself, but I'll stick to facts. Thx

BTW, Cesium levels nine times the legal limit found in beef products ON STORE SHELVES from cows eating contaminated hay is slightly more than the radition food will receive from being flown in.
