MotoGP » Suzuki: Bautista's not stupid…

"Alvaro's not stupid… he knew he had to push hard to keep fourth place - fifth or sixth wasn't going to do it as far as he was concerned. That's racing" - Paul Denning.

As a long-time Suzuki supporter I was getting quite excited about Bautista's potential placing so his fall was a great disappointment. Having only one rider is a serious disadvantage for Suzuki: do you go for broke, or ride conservatively for a finish? Bautista probably should have settled for sixth, ahead of one of the factory Yams, and both Ducatis - especially at Motegi. I hope Suzuki decide to keep going next year, but if they do, they need to allow for 2 riders if they want to do themselves justice.

Dear Alvaro

Though you can beat Rossi easily, that does not mean you can also beat stoner so easily, you need to push more for that as stoner is from higher class.
