@ Bradenws

Dovi hasn't signed for Honda for next year yet (or anyone else though) so why would he get a test?

I think it would be simple sign up for a Honda ride (LCR) and he will probably get a test and hopefully also get factory bike/support just like Marco

Honda will want input from as many different riders as possible to help with the future developments of their 2012 machine but they want it from signed and sealed 2012 Honda riders (not someone who maybe staying)

So it sounds like common sense to me

great stuff, with the 1000cc bikes having an excess of pbwer, and being a biut more of a handful, hopefully the the advantage the midgets like dani and marquez in the future have on acceleration will be gone, and bigger lads like simoncelli will be on an even playing field.
love him or loathe him, marco is a great rider, with a far smoother style than many would think ,he will be a race winner next year if he can calm down a notch, and for me has greater potential than dovi.

about sic vs Dovi... it's not an easy debate. Sure Sic's season has been very poor in terms of results, but also one victory for Dovi in three years in the repsol honda gagare it's not phenomenal stuff. maybe HRC sees more potential in the hairy one, who by the way, must have a damn good agent/representative.

Next year will be the put up or your out for the hairy unit.

Only a one year deal which will make 3 years in total for him.

There won't be anymore 7 year stints like Pedrosa for nothing in return.

Marquez will eventually partner Stoner in 2013 so both Hairy Unit and Pedrosa are on notice.

nothing against Dovi but he's only won 1 race in 4. time to move on.its not about who deserves what, this is motor racing. its got nothing to do with who deserves what,

Sic started off the year trying to hard to fast to get to the front, latley he has seems to have settled down quite alot, he's going to be one to watch in 2012 on the 1000cc.

They'll be keeping the Gresini ride open for Rossi in 2013, when he'll blast Stoner and the other aliens into the weeds one last time to claim his 11th world title

hehehehe
