Actually I prefer to see Stoner not dance round everytime he wins...acting like adolescent who won a game of Mario Kart jumping on f-ing turtles and the like...

In Australian culture you don't 'toss-off' over yourself. In other words, sit in the middle of the track with pop-corn watching yourself ride on replays.

@ pcxmac

If Stoner started on a factory Honda in 2007, he would've had 0 titles now. and maybe 1 at the end of this year.....

Some of you guys have no idea what you're talking about!!!!

Stoner cannot beat rossi,he has won on the beast 500's,the mental 1000's,the dreadful 800's,different manufacturers,he has developed bikes that never stood a chance into championship dominant machinery.
Stoner won one moto gp championship on a bike no one else could ride purely because he had total confidence in the rider cancelling electronics.
Now hes on the best bike on the grid by far, rossi has lapped half the field on a bike as good but stoner still makes mistakes and gets beaten.
With his lack of personality and the dullest moto gp class since i started following the likes of roberts, doohan, schwantz, lawson, rainey and mamola who really cares.
Come on dorna give the riders decent tyres as much fuel as they want and bikes that will ride more than one narrow line and lets watch racing again

"he had total confidence in the rider cancelling electronics."

*cricket noises*

Where have you been? Even the worst fanboys will not admit that meme is the complete opposite of the truth (he uses less than most ... possibly less than anyone else).

Looks like Doohan has hit a nerve with Rossi's supporters. Nice one, Mick.

"Stoner cannot beat rossi......"

Tell it to the record books that say Stoner has more 800cc victories than Rossi and he did it mainly on a bike Rossi only sees the podium on riding by it down pit lane.

You can shut your blinkered eyes or peer through your yellow tinted glasses and try to build up your hero and knock Stoner but it doesn't erase the facts and results that have happen on track.

Did not say he uses the tronics on the new honda, watch some footage of stoner the moaner on the ducati, soon as he comes off the brakes entering corners he cracks the throttle open with no finnesse and lets the bike sort it out.
Yes i am a huge rossi fan but there are many other riders i respect more than stoner.
Watch a 500 race or a 1000 race then watch the 800's......if u can stay awake

Doohan is mistaken.Stoner won't exceed Rossi's record,he would have needed a few more crowns at this point in his career.Between potential injuries,up and coming racers, the vagaries of bike dominance-there's too much against that happening.Of course he's a hugely talented rider, but in time, the names Rossi and Stoner won't be compared as equals.Ain't gonna happen! It's like LuLU Hamilton being compared to Ayrton Senna---

Nice ingnoring the testimony of several experienced MotoGP riders there, who all say that Stoner uses less TC than most guys out there. But of course I will defer to your expert 'observations' :-)

How do you compare Stoner's achievements to Doohan's, who raced 2 strokes with horrific injuries, or Rossi's who has won titles on 2 strokes, 4 strokes and different brands?

That's right, you don't. Doohan and Rossi are great, Stoner, not yet, but he's made a pretty good start.

I bet Casey would love that trophy,ye know the invisible one,the one ye cant touch, see or smell, the I beat Rossis record trophy. So lets say he's 29 and has just got his 5th title do you think he's gonna hang up his gloves,I mean he's a Australian sportsman and Valli is his biggest foe.

I thought it got a bit boring watching Doohan win, couldn't say the same about watching Vali win.
