I am sick of this rubbish about Stoner's personality. He wants to race as fast as he can every race. That is what he is in the sport for. He wants to win races and if championships follow the good, that is not his main passion. If there is something in the way of achieving that, such as bike problems, he will express his annoyance. Knowing a bike has allowed him to race as hard as he can is all that is needed for him to be smiling at the end, win or lose. He does not need to plant flags or act like a clown and ask for adoration from the crowd. A job well done is good enough. That is what Australian's expect from our sporting heroes. I would rather watch his pure talent on a bike than any of the after race antics of his competitors.

@Sparky62 this site not only encourages people to comment on his personality they recommend it. Just read the Recommended Post. If this post had the words moaner removed and replaced with Rossi it would have been deleted a long time ago. But as it is about Stoner and his personality it is put right up there to an international audience as a recommended post. CRASH dont even try to hide their bias now. They fly it proudly on an international market. Pity because Stoner is going to be around winning WC for some time. And i reckon CRASH have put there money a a loser.

Stoner has the talent, but not the will. He is to soft plus he has a nagging wife. The immenant birth of his first sprog will signal the end of Stoner as a force in Moto GP.

Mighty Moaning Doohan is a broke washed up hasbeen,
ovcourse he's going to talk up Stoner, he's an aussie.

was a shame he left before Rossi stepped up into the 500's, would of been a great show.

Most of the posts on here prove Rossi fans have totally lost any sense of reality! You'd think Doohan was trash talking Rossi of something based on rubbish people are posting. Exactly what is wrong with "so he could easily surpass what I've done, and perhaps even Valentino Rossi" that would have anyone up in arms? Seriously...Rossi fans are mentally fragile, insane or both!

and @hazbeen,

before you "claim" rossi is my hero, ill save you the trouble.. no he's not,

my hero is my father, not some guy who rides around on a motorbike scoring points.
