Valentino Rossi says he won't know how much his injured finger could hinder him until he gets out on the Ducati during free practice at Phillip Island.

I suppose its a fair comment from Rossi that the swelling has reduced and only the race weekend will determine how it will, or will not, affect him. All I want though (and probably most of us on here i dare say) is for Rossi to 'show up and up the ante' and start to push that bike really hard now, given the development that has gone into it.

@Stavros. Bit of a loaded statement that. True though.
I am not a hater but Rossi must have something more substantial to mention other than the finger.

Sorry, but we have John hopkins raced with broken finger and he actually reborke them during the race and he won 2 races in a row, we had Jorge Lorenzo who raced with both feet broken and he made that to podium. We even had Valentino Rossi last year raced with broken leg and he was doing it good. Why an injured finger at left hand is considered as such a huge factor here? Is it served as a fail-safe excuse if they ****ed up the PI race where Ducati used to dominate?

It's not cool, Vale. We believers trust whatever you had said before and appreciate your style but recent seasons you just start to make us feel we are fools.

Why can't you just shut up and ride you problem off? You slamed so many people in the past and now you are doing the same thing.....It's totally not a way I would like to see you end up with.....

Try harder...

Vale gets far and large the most comments here. So whatever he does will be written about, informative or not.
My tip , skip the first 75% of the article and then go to the actual quote.
